Andrew Fleming, Winemaker at Coldstream Hills

Andrew achieved a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree at the Melbourne University prior to his first job as Assistant Winemaker at Mildara Wines. In 1985 he headed for France and completed a Diplome Nationale d’Oenologue at the University of Bordeaux before returning to Australia.
In 1989, he took on a role as Winemaker at Lindemans Wines, Karadoc. During his tenure at Lindemans, Andrew worked vintages in the South of France, as part of a joint venture between Southcorp Wines and Val d’Orbieu. Andrew relocated in 1996, to Seppelt Great Western, where he was responsible for the Victorian range of cool-climate wines. In 2001 Andrew moved to Coldstream Hills where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have been his main focus.
